2022 BYA Grant Recipient

With this grant from BYA, I was able to waive the booth fee to the No New Vintage Market which allowed me to sell my jewelry in a place I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford. This was my first true experience selling my artwork in a market and it taught me so much. I was able to connect with so many people. I learned a lot about what people liked, how to streamline my process and was able to get a few commissions out of it as well. It was also good for me to practice working production style for a hard deadline for something like this. This was a very formative experience for me as an emerging artist, and I have kept in good relations with the individuals I was introduced to, continuing to grow my network of amazing people in Boise.
